The Music and the Magic

20-21 March 2010 @ Sidhehaven

A combined workshop taught by S.J. Tucker and Sherry Kirk.

When: Saturday and Sunday; March 20-21st 2010. Starting at 10am on Saturday and concluding by 3pm on Sunday.

Where: Sidhehaven, located just outside of Rainier, WA. (www.sidhehaven.com)

Cost: $75 - $100 sliding scale (includes lunch and dinner on Saturday as well as breakfast and lunch on Sunday); $25 non-refundable deposit to hold your place in the workshop. ***A percentage of the proceeds after expenses are paid will be donated to a community member in need***

About the workshop:

This is intended to be an intensive workshop focusing on the use of music and sound as a conduit for magical energy. We will cover the basics of magical ethics involving energetic manipulation through sound; talk about the practice of constructing ritual using vocals and other sound; practice moving energy through song; and create and conduct a ritual together using the learned techniques. Please bring any instruments or songs that you would like to practice with. Ritual will be at 2pm on Sunday and the workshop should be complete by 3pm.
